Dislocation of carpometacarpal joints other than the thumb is uncommon. We experienced simultaneous volar dislocation of all four ulnar carpometacarpal joints with concomitant avulsion fracture. We performed closed reduction and additional percutaneous pinning in this case, but developed malposition of flexor digitorum profundus of 5th finger dorsally to the 4th metacarpus during closed reduction. To our best knowledge, this complication has never been described in English literature. The tendon was well reduced after exploration and dislocated CMC joints were well preserved anatomically with pinning. At 5-month follow up after removal of pins, the patient is doing well without pain, weakness of grip strength, limitation of motion.
